I'm working on a CTM map of sorts, and it progresses in a linear fashion where you need to press a button after getting your wool in order to remove the barrier on specific bridges (the areas are floating islands with bridges connecting them). So I tried using a command block set to "/setblock -2 64 -193 air (that's one coordinate of one barrier block on my bridge)," and for whatever reason, it doesn't work. I have tried it in chat, and that worked, however. So what exactly must I do in order to make this work? Also, is there a way I can set one command block to set a range of blocks? Like say between the area of -2, 64, -193 and 2, 62, -193?
Thanks for the help!

You can use the /fill command to replace a range of blocks: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Commands#fill
