I've been trying to make a multi-command block thingy that will first testfor a player within 70 blocks. If it finds a player, then it sends a redstone signal, which tests for players outside this radius, it is crucial to my mini-game that it happens in this order. The command in the first Command Block is "/testfor @p[r=70]" which works fine. A comparator, then repeater, then redstone dust goes to a second command block with the command "/testfor @p[rm=70]" which spits out the error "The entity UUID provided is in an invalid format"
Wait, my apologies if you already solved your problem but are you trying to find a player and then if it does, let's say the player is leaving and you want to find the player if he or she were to leave the area?
if so use your original commands and you said that you used the comparator and then repeater? Loop redstone dust around so that it attaches itself to the one side of the comparator that way as long as that command stays true then it will constantly testfor a player who leaves the area. Then once the second command is true it will trigger and set off the next command whatever that may be Hope this helps!
You could also mess around with the
/testfor @a[10,67,10,r=70,rm=70]
specifiers. I think this finds a player 70 blocks out but who is still with the 70 block area. NOTE: your command MUST HAVE coordinates, other wise it doesn't know from where you are speaking. The coordinates are where the 10,70,10 are, in the command above.

Thanks this is almost (close enough to work with) what I meant! I'll try that out
Why thank you!! I wasn't sure, I can't play minecraft very well with the internet up so I have to go back and forth. Chrome and MC up at the same time... NO! lolz I just tried it and in fact it does so work! I don't know why I thought it didn't..

I'm going to try the @a and use coords way, and see how it works! If you want to understand my end goal I can link you to my other thread
Thank you for your response. Is there a way I can detect if a player is farther away than 70 blocks?
Ugh, I'll have to start a new thread asking for help figuring out a new method of doing what I want.
