Hi everyone! If you need help with making a redstone circuit or device, reply to this topic and I will try my best to make it! No guarantees that I will be able to though.
A circuit that when it receives an input chooses randomly between 3 outputs
The circuit utilizes the latching function of a repeater to cancel out additional outputs. I have not compacted it, for the delays are extremely finicky and in order to compact it, you need to use redstone torches which mess up the delays.
[Note: The dropper at the bottom of the first image is holding 2 water buckets (or any item that can not be stacked) and anything that can be stacked to 64, and the other dropper holds a water bucket (same as above) and anything that can be stacked to 64.]
[Additional note: Droppers face towards hoppers, and hoppers feed into droppers.]

The timer is auto-resetting and requires an 11 second cooldown before using it again. When an input is given, the output (which is represented by the redstone lamp) is on until 1 minute (+- 1 second) later. Then the output turns off, and the timer is reset, and ready to use again in 11 seconds.
[The dropper faces into the hopper, and vice versa.]

Requires a bit of building, but here we go.
Two giant ghasts facing each other. They shoot primed TNT from their mouth. TNT. Not minecarts. Also, don't make everything blow up.
THey MUST open their mouth with timed sticky pistons and launch the TNT at a protected spots with water. The player must have a safe pod to launch. In needs to send him 30 BLOCKS HIGh. No more,no less.
Only look at the following on a real computer, and not a very tiny laptop, or an iPod, or it'll look as weird as the nether.
I need a weird cobble generator that basically makes sheets of cobble that are 14/15 blocks wide, 14/15 blocks long, and 1 block tall, and essentially stacks these sheets into 1 blocky cube that gets pushed down.
Here's my attempt at a model
= pistons pushing down
= pistons pushing to the left/right
= cobbble
= the cobble that's about to be pushed into a sheet/cobble coming from a cobble generator above. (don't ask me for details)
And after enough sheets it would look like one giant block of cobble, that came from the (preferably) ceiling.
That's the kind of cobble generator I need. As crazy as it looks, I think it would make it hard to grief, if the only parts you can mine is the cobble. Or if you're up to the fing crazy level challenge find plan that does the above + the above upside down so you have twice the cobble generating speed. But only if you really want to stretch you redstone brain that far.
Thank you for explaining that thing for the rail junction thing! It really helps!
And for number 5 I meant something that would basically do the thing in this video someone (on the staff side of the machine for say diamond drops) pushes a button, which triggers a dispenser to give out an item, and then pushes the player outside of the building, with that sort of system. Ok I THINK I figured out how to do that in my head, but help is appreciated.
I do not know if the following is even possible without command blocks, I doubt it, but if you can, wow, just wow!
Anyway since I figured out to mostly do that, I now need help making a player arranger. by which I mean something that would basically be a line of pressure plates/idk trip wire hooks, that once a player gets online a fence post appears behind them, so no one can cut ahead etc, and once either a staff member, or if I can get this fully automated a chest/dispenser gives out an item, the players in line get pushed forward in the line. I hope that made sense.
The idea of that would be say if I was giving out emeralds, but wanted it to be more balanced than a drop party, I could just turn that system on, and have people getting in line, so they could each get their own emerald, and there would be no cheating, etc.
Also no command blocks. I'm doing this on a smp server.
Edit: On a completely unrelated note, does anyone know excactly how long a full size magma cube takes to die via suffocation damage? Also same question for the smaller sizes. I don't need anything built for me, I just want to know.

Finished the ghast, but I only made one. Shoots primed tnt after opening it's mouth. What is it that you want me to make for the safe pod? A player launcher?

Just get the measures right to make the TNT go at the same spot. Then make an obsidian shell with water. Launch the player 30 BLOCKS HIGH. No more, no less. That's the real challenge.

Finished! Didn't use your idea though
The only thing I thought of was an alternating soul sand/stone tape, but that was way too buggy. This design requires that the player spawns with a Minecart, they place the cart, and hold down the "W" key to move forward. The pistons retract periodically, allowing the line to move 1 block forward. Upon reaching the dispenser, a detector rail triggers a dispenser, and the player receives their item. My design could also be made more visually appealing.

I also decided to make a video detailing what happens.
I need it to be physically impossible for the player to move forward, unless the system is working, and allowing them to move forward, so that there is no cheating. Sorry.

If you put a line of blocks above the track, if a player tried to enter they couldn't, and if they tried to get out of the minecart they would suffocate.
I need a circuit where after input is on, on output nothing happens, but after switching input to off, the output will be on. And the output needs to be reseted by button.
Sorry for my bad english and I hope you will understand what I mean.

I am awesome!
EDIT: Well, this sucks. I currently have no idea how to make it. I'll keep it in the back of my mind, however, and I'll eventually figure it out.
