v# means version number. So basically, a re-built/remodeled design. (As of the Redstone Update, none of these work anymore.)
Details and plans of each:
'Perfect' Combination Lock v2
Called perfect because I can't think of any more features it would need.
Does not open from random slamming buttons
Does not open if buttons are hit in wrong order
Does not open if correct combination is dialed in multiples(1234 is combo, 122334 would NOT open the door)
Code is programmable
Code is programmable FROM the regular input panel
Code can have repeating characters
Code can be made any length (0-10 characters) 12, or 1112233455
Any other ideas I can add in? Let me know! I'll see if I can work it out.
Poker v2
Yes, you heard it, Poker! This is 2 player 5 card-draw Poker. It features:
'Deck' of 52 cards drawn randomly using a 6 bit binary decoder.
Individual cards cannot be drawn more than once.
Cards are displayed on each player's separate screens.
Players have a variety of buttons, including: Action(Used generally as next, ready, etc.), Shuffle(Reset), and a separate set of 5 buttons used for selecting cards to discard
Discarding/re-drawing specific cards
Winning detection! Yes, it doesn't just deal cards, it is able to tell who won based on their final hands!
This is quite a large and intricate creation. Do not expect this one to be done any time soon... On top of that, it is slow, and takes a LOT of space(Mainly because of the screens)
Pictures of Poker!

Hands(I will be changing this part quite dramatically, I think.
Player 1 area
Virtual Pet
Now, before you shoot this one down, saying this has been done and all that, hold your tongue!
This will feature the following:
Player Detection?(Not sure if I want this or not- still debating on use of Command Blocks for interaction and such)
Hunger - (Fed with MC food? Has favorites, dislikes, etc.)
Hygiene
Stats? Smarts/Active/???
Happiness
Health
Pet will move around it's environment, have droppings, etc.
I'm debating whether it should have evolutions or not as well Those might be BIG.
Might do small animations, too.
I was building this a long time ago and never actually finished it. It was my in-progress project when the Redstone Update hit, and since then I haven't had time, my world got corrupted, and I lost all my work.
And, of course, I am open to ideas! If I like them, I will definitely build them!
If you want more examples of what I have done to see what I am capable of, just ask!
Please comment with your ideas. Anything is great!
I will post my progress on this(Or another) thread so you can see as I'm going. I will only be able to work on it for a few hours a week, as I am a full-time student and work a full-time job. That means I only get a couple hours to work. It may take a little time, but I would love any help you guys have as well!
A 200000 by 20000000 piston door would be nice.
lol jk, but what about a working car? (actually works, or at least looks, like a car, not just a minecart)
I am so mad at the Sky fanboys who are like "ADD BUUUDDDER TWO MINCRFT CUZ BURDR Z SP ASWUM ND STUFZ BUDDERBUDDERBUDDER :D:D:D:D" that I am dedicating my signature to stopping them. I had gone into more depth, but the stupid signature limit stopped me. Oh well.
More detail? Obviously, I can only make things that can be done. So give me details about how you think that would be done. More details as to what should happen, etc.

I personally like the poker. If you need a better way to show the players what they have, you can use renamed clay or wool blocks, and give it to them with dispensers. It wouldn't really be the fastest thing, but that would free up a lot of the space taken up by the screens.

I like to do redstone builds on my channel, and I can probably help you with your in game troubles.
Ew. I despise all of those named items versions. Those are awful. I'm doing 100% redstone. The screens are a slight downfall, but worth it.
Like I said, I made the first version BEFORE the Redstone Update. So there was no naming things, or Hoppers, Droppers, any of that. Haha.
This way is much more technical, and I prefer to work with it that way. I don't feel like dealing with glitchy sorters and all that stuff.
Thanks for the input though! I'm glad I'm getting some feedback on these.
As for an end for the poll... Shall we say first one to 10? I don't think I'm going to get a whole ton of feedback on these, but at least then I will see if people are interested. If you guys wants, I will post my progress on this(or another) thread so you can watch the progress.

haha I know what you mean about not wanting to use the new stuff. I used to feel that way, but I don't now. I don't really know what changed, it just did
Just to clarify though, the items would only be for display, and would have nothing to do with the actual game mechanics. That could be stored similar to what you did with the first version, but the players are simply given the items as a more private way of viewing their cards.

I figured that afterward. I did give it thought. I didn't just mindlessly shoot it down. Haha.
The players hands WERE private though, FYI. The placement of the two player rooms allowed you only to view your personal hand. But, if you look at the pictures included, the yellow/orange/black section is the screens alone. I think they were close to being 150 tall. They were massive and slow. I have created some ideas to try to speed the process. And your named item idea is a great way of doing it, to be honest. So I appreciate the idea!
The problem with that, is that it would still require a mass amount of item sorters. Which, in my experience, malfunction at the slightest glimpse of lag.
However, I HAVE been giving it a considerable amount of thought. It wouldn't be THAT bad, and as long as I use iceways instead of hopper tubes, it shouldn't be TOO slow... I think it would take a slightly longer time than I would prefer to sort the cards back to where they should be...
But honestly, it may be worth it. It's going to be slow no matter how I approach it. Haha. I'm going to be re-vamping everything anyway. Might as well go all out.

yeah, there doesn't seem to be a good way to go about that
EDIT I thought of this right after I posted that lol. I'm not sure if this would be something you are interested in doing, since you seems to do redstone a bit more by the books (If you know what I mean :P), but using this you would only have to clear the player's inventories after the game.
The vid is not mine, but it gets the point acroos.
Nah. I don't like MC Edit. Shortcuts are fine(I use Single Player Commands religiously) but I usually like to stick to things that are possible in Survival. That's also why I try to avoid CMD Blocks. But they are pretty fun, so I'll use them on the occasion.
babbaj- You're speaking gibberish... What's the point of a Silverfish door if it just breaks apart and eats itself?

I'm sorry, but your explanations are just not cutting it for me. You might as well say, "Just make that stuff do the thing because of that other thing happening." You're giving me barely any information at a time, and none of it is adding up to much.
Explain what happens. What's going on?

Babbaj, I see what you mean, now! Not bad, but I'm not particularly inclined to it. I'll build Poker first, and then move on to some others- possibly that!
Attaching 2 levers to a door and calling it a password lock isn't the same as having an order sensitive button panel... Not that I'm saying anything about his, just that everybody is different. People build different things, different ways, different features. I'm going to look his ones up now and see how his is- I'm just saying that just because somebody has done it, doesn't mean nobody else can.
Anyway! Poker has been decided! I don't think I'm going to be getting many more votes, so I'll stick to what I have.
