I am in development of a PVP Map and I have hit an issue with Command Blocks. What I am doing is rewarding people "Points" for standing on an objective through a clock and Command Blocks. Once a team reached 180 points, the match is over.
The issue is that my testfor command does not seem to be working. I have thought it might be a redstone problem but it doesn't seem to be. Below is a picture of my testfor command.
I hope you can help out.
As you can see, the purple team has more than 180 points but this Command Block does not output a redstone signal.

"An objective's name is used internally when referenced in commands, target arguments, and in the file format. It is case-sensitive and must be a single word."
but player names are not then? Im using a fake player to track Point Values
Stilll the testfor command will not work. I switched all the caps
Your pvp map will not have any fake player, is it ? If so, I don't exactly understand what is your problem.
I need to keep score for an objective. I was using a "fake" player and add points to them for each team. So the Purple player would be assigned points so that the Purple team had a score.
It could be that I'm not just seeing it because it was clipped off or something, but you seem to be forgetting a slash!! At least everything I've been doing requires a slash in the command blocks. Also, make sure that the clock is actually getting to the command block. Your's looks fine, but I would double check.

I think that is the correct syntax.
I tried this and still the Command Block doesn't output a signal
Do caps matter at all? I put all the team names in Caps and it shows up as "purple"

but that won't work for the full game. How do you suggest I keep score then?

This might be helpful for creating arguments to go along with your commands.
Again, besides the error in the argument, which someone else has already pointed out above, I think you're only missing a forward slash.
Good luck with your map! I hope to see it on the forums someday!
Thanks for trying to help but adding the slash did not solve my issue. I haven't used a slash in any of my commands and they have been working fine!
would something like this work?
So
This is what I would do
So have a separate Score kept for each team? but also add the to "Points" score? So test for the special score but display the points?
I will report back once I set that up! Sounds like you might be onto something there
It worked perfectly!
Thanks so much!
