Hey guys! I posted a thread about this a while ago, I believe. In that thread, I promised a tutorial for my world record quadruple extender. Well, here it is: the 5x5x8 flush* quad extender.
Because my microphone has been malfunctioning as of late, I decided to take this as a speed-building challenge. I'm proud to have recorded this in exactly 2 minutes, despite all the derps and misplaced blocks.
*DISCLAIMER: I in absolutely no way claim this design to be seamless; it clearly is not. Comments about the redstone block showing will be ignored. The circuitry is flush because nothing sticks out from the wall.
Pretty sure it's impossible to make a seamless triple or higher extender, since you need some way to power that last piston. Anyone who gives you grief over that clearly doesn't know what they're talking about, and it's pretty mindblowing that you were able to make it flush.
