I tried to make a clock circuit just like the one in this picture* but nothing is happening. I put a piston at one end and when I activate the circuit it pushes up and stays there. I want it to go up and down over and over.
You know how I like to activate a repeater clock?
Put a block of redstone (or any powered block) away from the clock and then put a torch on it to power that clock.
Torch blows and dies fast but not instantly thus activating 1 repeater but not the other and so activating the clock.

The reason why they wouldn't make a clock is because, of a glitch or something.
