Pistons can do many things. In this tutorial I will be showing you how to make a piston T-Flip Flop. The T-Flop Flop is like a lever, except you can activate it with any trigger. I will be showing you how to do it with a button trigger.
You will need
2 Redstone Dust
2 Pistons (Normal or sticky. Doesn't matter.)
3 Redstone torches
3 Blocks (Almost any will do. I recommend cobble, wood, or wool).
Step 1
Dig 1 block down.
Step 2
Place a redstone torch in the hole.
Step 3
Place 2 pistons near the hole 2 blocks away from each other, like so.
(Note, it does not need to be sticky pistons. Regular pistons will do.)
Step 4
Place a block on top of the hole where the redstone torch is.
(Note: It can be any block)
Step 5
Place 2 blocks next to each other on top of the block that you just placed, like so.
Step 6
Place 2 redstone on top of the 2 blocks that you just placed, like so.
Step 7
Place redstone torches at the end of the 2 blocks on top.
Step 8
Place a button, like so.
(Note: It must be on the block that is on top of the block that is covering the torch.)
And there you have it! To activate and deactivate the redstone current, press the button. Make absolutely sure that you have placed the output redstone near the torch in the ground.
Add a redstone torch and another block next to the button to make it faster - and just so you all know, this is because this design activates on the falling edge.

Well if you did that then it'd be like 10% increase in size. I'm trying to explain how to make the most COMPACT.

Sire I inquire as I do with most, but do you mean to gloat? For is it truly such a tire to reply to the host with but a simple QUOTE?
If some1 were looking for a TFF they could go to the minecraft wiki or to the sticky thread at the top of the redstone section or do a quick search in google or youtube or even in this forum, but no! you had to do a tutorial for the most commonly used TFF that most likely has a dozen or so other threads, at the least.
Why?
Never mind, don't answer that, just let this thread slip in page 2, then 3 etcetera as we know it should.
Edit: No, I will not bump this by answering you with a new post

I made this thread for the totally clueless of redstone mechanics.

If you are totally clueless first thing you do is some research.
