I'm pretty much new with redstone. And lately I've decided to make a simple electronic Battleship in minecraft. The base is very easy:
There's 2 10x10 grids in the board. One for your boats, one for your attacks and markings. So one grid send a signal to the other board and vice versa. And there's one circuit per board that makes light flashing if you hit an enemy boat.
So there's 100 connections per board for the moves and 1 hit connection per board. That's 202 "wires".
That's a large number of connection, and I found it complicated to remember and figure it out very fast when building it. And I had an idea. This:
Each connections are in groups of 10, each one having a different color. And each group have one unmarked "wire" and 9 marked wires. With this I can make the difference between each wires, just by looking at it!! And I can make a very large number of different connections using that method.
