1 : the state of knowing : knowledge as distinguished from ignorance or misunderstanding
2 a: a department of systematized knowledge as an object of study <the science of theology> b: something (as a sport or technique) that may be studied or learned like systematized knowledge <have it down to a science>
3 a: knowledge or a system of knowledge covering general truths or the operation of general laws especially as obtained and tested through scientific method
It might be a silly application of the term, but redstone knowledge is indeed systematized. It's hard to keep everyone on the same page and make consistent progress with stuff being overhauled. But who knows; maybe they update will only bork a few things.
Physics doesn't get "updates" because there is nobody there to make updates for it.
What on Earth are you talking about? Physics gets updated all the time. What do you think quantum physics was? Or the general (and special) relativity… or Newton's laws of motion…
They're like major patches of physics.
I agree, though. Such updates tend to keep things interesting.
