We meet again...draw your sword and prepare yourself! Have at you!
Wait, I'm not here to duel with you O_o
Oh yes! I have a new tutorial out and this time it's for a 2x2 pop up door. It's quite simple to build and fairly lightweight. Though it was worth sharing with everyone here in the forums. Enjoy!
I'm going to leave the original video up in case you want to point and laugh at the old design
Here is the new design at first glance
This is a quick pic tutorial
Here is the design layer by layer. Any repeater that is not marked with a setting is set at 1.
When you are done, you're going to end up with what you see in the following pic because the bottom pistons will extend when you place them. To get the pistons in their correct position, simply remove the circled repeater and replace it and that should fix it.
Ok, people! Giving this a little bump because I actually came up with a newer, faster, more compact design than the original. This thing is fast and I'm quite pleased with it. Not only is it smaller but I have integrated a TFF into the design as well.
Feel free to check it out. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
I'm really liking this design. When I first saw the picture up there I thought that was an awful lot of redstone just for a 2x2 door. But after watching the video for the improved design I think its great.
Really great video and comentary by the way. Consider me subscribed.
Thanks. Yea, this is considerably resource-light compared to other doors of this kind. I really appreciate the sub too, thank you for that!
