Purpose of the RDF:
It is our goal to push the boundaries of what is possible with redstone engineering to it's breaking point and beyond. Computers, displays, vaults, minecart systems, mini-games, and anything else that involves redstone technology.
RDF MEMBERS: How to get your creation listed as an official RDF project
Post the link to your Planet Minecraft project listing in this thread. Please indicate whether it should be listed as complete or a work-in-progress.
Project Ownership:
All projects listed are owned solely by their respective creator(s). Both the RDF and the creator(s) retain the right to remove any project from the listing at any time, for any reason.
How to copy your project from the server:
Select the region containing your project with the "Wand" tool.
Type "//copy" then "//save <nameofyourproject>".
Your project will be saved as a schematic in the "Schematics" dropbox folder.
If you do not yet have access to the dropbox folder, send an admin your email address and the name of the schematic, and we will email it to you as soon as possible.
In order for your creation to be eligible for posting, you must meet the following criteria:
WhatTheHazzy: Our focus at the moment is on our projects. We are tossing around the idea of a doing a tutorial series, but nothing is set yet. Appreciate the offer though, and we'll keep you in mind.
I should hopefully be able to get some good work done on the tic-tac-toe board this weekend. Then maybe we can upload it to the Completed section :smile.gif: yay!
TheXboxNut: This particular thread is a showcase for projects created by our members. If you are interested in having your projects shown here, come join us!
Zom: I had tried something like that originally, but the problem is that the circuit takes the same amount of time to send the activation signal for the display torches as the actual activation signal from the memory modules... I might revisit that in the next version though, as I have learned some new techniques since then.
skinnyhaz: Thanks! I'll recommend to TaviRider to add a less condensed version so that it is easier to grasp how it works.
Total_MC_Addiction: Glad to hear that we have inspired a new redstone engineer :smile.gif:
can you guys create an easily programmable Redstone TV screen with a reset button? i suggest using buttons hooked up to RS-NOR latches, with the outputs being put into the screen. hook up the reset button to the latches for easy reset. i dont care about size. also, i dont have an achiver, so i cant get any saves, so it'll have to be in a .SCHEMATIC form. if you can do this, i give you many diamonds. or a 96-digit lock with cookies inside the door the lock is locking. thx.
EDIT: oops! wrong thread, lemme move this to the suggestions thread
