I was messing around with pistons when I decided that I wanted a lever to generate a pulse, when turning off and turning on.
This was as small as I could get it, when you switch the lever (1 or 0) is changes the torch state (Hidden under the piston) which changes just faster turning on and just slower when turning off, Allowing a 1 (Or 2 I don't actually know for sure) tick pulse out the other end. This tick is short enough that a red stone torch will ignore the pulse when turning the lever to 0 so I recommend using a repeater (Which can catch 1 tick pulses)
Sorry if someone else has come up with this first. I just wanted to share :smile.gif:
What would this be called? It does the opposite of what a t-flip flop does, so would it be like a de-flip flop?
EDIT: This is embarrassing, I clearly am taking advantage of a bug I don't understand, because when I attempted to rebuild this elsewhere the pulse only works when turned on.Fixed, added a repeater into the mix.
I'm pretty sure this is a pulse limiter/edge trigger. It's not anything new, but you didn't make it overly large like other people have when they make old designs.
Okay so I looked at other pulse limiters (You are right that is exactly what my "thing" is) However mine is different in the idea that is pulses both for off and on. Making the lever work like a very fast button.
This is a pretty neat and compact design. Is there a way to change the speed of the pulse?
Changing the gate anyway that I have tried causes it to only pulse when you turn it on. Add a repeater after it set to the 4th setting will cause the length of the pulse to be 4 ticks.
