I have been working on (for a while now) a 13x13 display with ROM that stores all characters on the keyboard except the lower case letters. There are 68 cahracters in total, each 13x13, making the ROM 11,492 bits. The RAM can be programed to display whatever you want in a 13x13 grid. The RAM, you chose which ones you want on, then you write it to the D-FlipFlop memory. Then you can choose if you want to display it or not. The RAM, because it is 13x13, makes 169 bits. As you can imagine, this took me a REALLY long time to build :tongue.gif:
