Despite being a total dope with redstone, I've figured out how'd to make a redstone telegraphs. Thank god.

Just a few minecraft days later, My base was getting raided, so I sent an SOS signal to my friend's base through our newly made redstone telegraph. He came, and we fended off the raiders.

When redstone first came out, I invented a method of sending messages to everyone on the server. I called it "the chat". You access it by hitting 'T'.

The server we play on has local and world chat, however, normal members like me and him can't access world chat. So he can't hear me when I call for help.

That's why I use the telegraph.

Can the sound bites that each note block plays be edited?

I've always wondered if it was possible to make a mod where you replace each note for each instrument with a very compressed robot sounding voice stating a word. You'd have a short list of useful words which could form sentences, like "zero" to "ten", "the", "or", "is", game relevant nouns like "creeper" and adjectives "burning". Then you'd have a system that sends digital signals to decoders on each end, that play a particular note block that announces that word.

1) Make one of these with your friend.
2) Make a loop with redstone.
3) Send the signal for "creeper" over and over again.
4) ??????
5) Creepercreepercreepercreepercreepercreepercreepercreeper...

This sounds like an awesome thing to do with redstone. I'll probably borrow the concept for my friend's upcoming RP Minecraft LAN. You sir, got 1 rep.

That is actually a good idea. Use like a button to communicate emergencies to friends using note blocks!

This is an awesome idea except someone could find the wire and destroy it.

Je viens à peine de mettre au point mon codeur décodeur ! ! !

je peux envoyer des signaux, tel que 110101, voir plus grand, et les retenir. C'est assez performant et étonnamment très simple d'idée !

De plus, un système de sécurité y est directement incorporé, disant que si le fil est coupé, le résultat sera toutes les sorties à 1 ( fil coupé = tout à 1) afin d'indiquer une anomalie.

Mais : J'ai pas vraiment compris pour cette histoire de "son", moi j'envoie des informations, après si vous voulez, au lieu de les traduire visuellement il est possible de mettre des noteblocks au bout, mais ce serait presque dommage XD.

Je prépare une vidéo démonstrative, et si le système vous satisfait, je ferai un tuto approfondie.
