Despite being a total dope with redstone, I've figured out how'd to make a redstone telegraphs. Thank god.
Just a few minecraft days later, My base was getting raided, so I sent an SOS signal to my friend's base through our newly made redstone telegraph. He came, and we fended off the raiders.

R.I.P Me playing Minecraft
August 2010 - October 2011
The server we play on has local and world chat, however, normal members like me and him can't access world chat. So he can't hear me when I call for help.

That's why I use the telegraph.
After reading this post, your idea became like 100x more epic. "Who needs chat anyways? We can use... redstone."

No you didn't, because TNT damage doesn't stack.

Can the sound bites that each note block plays be edited?
I've always wondered if it was possible to make a mod where you replace each note for each instrument with a very compressed robot sounding voice stating a word. You'd have a short list of useful words which could form sentences, like "zero" to "ten", "the", "or", "is", game relevant nouns like "creeper" and adjectives "burning". Then you'd have a system that sends digital signals to decoders on each end, that play a particular note block that announces that word.

1) Make one of these with your friend.
2) Make a loop with redstone.
3) Send the signal for "creeper" over and over again.
4) ??????
5) Creepercreepercreepercreepercreepercreepercreepercreeper...
I can send signals, such as 110,101, scaling, and retain them. It's pretty powerful and surprisingly simple idea!
In addition, a security system is embedded directly, saying that if the wire is cut, the result will be all outputs to 1 (= completely cut wire 1) to indicate an anomaly.
But: I do not really understand this story of "his", I send the information after if you want, instead of translating it is possible to visually put noteblocks at the end, but it would be almost too bad XD .
I make a video demonstration, and if you will be satisfied, I will do a thorough tutorial.
I'm sorry for the language, I'm Swiss (it is perhaps not obvious, but it's not because we are Switzerland is known all languages ...)
I hope this will satisfy you.
To all, good luck in your circuits!
Awesome! The security idea is pretty cool!
