So you'd need to have it so 4 pistons suck in the wall, when even more suck those into the wall, and after that more pistons push blocks to cover up the pistons that opened the door. Sounds too complicated for me.
Just add another extra thing to the Jeb door where the exposed pistons are pulled away and replaced by wall material. With Hans Lemerson's reversible thingy, it's pretty easy.
no overhang either. sorry for being so picky but i need this
i put a painting where the exposed piston was. i connected 2 levers on each side of the door using an "or" gate then connected the piston on top and bottom from that. then i just placed a painting on the top piston
2x2 Piston Door building sequence activate.
I've actually been wanting to do this for awhile, and now I have an excuse to try it with a little drive. I'll post my results.
I remember seeing a video somewhere showcasing a piston door with absolutely no showing pistons or wiring that is on a flat wall. it was 2x2. Could someone link me to the video please or tell me how i can do this?
Here I made a video tutorial, I think this is what you mean, Mine is 1x2 but it can be made 2x2 by mirroring it on the other side, and wiring to the same lever.

I used to have a fear of speed bumps... But I'm slowly getting over it.
And you can download the world here: http://www.mediafire.com/?8das5emr65tti7k
Don't mind the other stuff in the world, they're just redstone practice etc.. :wink.gif:

EDIT: maybe not, this is more difficult than i thought
Let me see if I can find it

S = sticky piston
O = block

Though the wiring could be tricky

Tree button is epic!
Ikr ^^
Are you saying that you want the two pisons visible when the door is opened to be hidden? That would certainly be a challenge.
The dogs are cute :smile.gif:
