Alright, so with the addition of pistons to Minecraft, I've been trying my hand at redstone wiring. I've managed to make a few hidden piston doors, but now I need some help with what I'm currently trying to build. I'm attempting to build a staircase hidden under a floor, but it'll be in an open area.
Looking down the staircase from the front.
When I hit the switch in the passage underground, the top stairs do go into the wall, and the ceiling closes. When I hit the switch again, the stairs push the ceiling out of the way, screwing everything up. I'm not sure what to do to fix this. So I'm asking you fine folks if you have a solution.
The two stair pistons and wiring
The four pistons on the left for the entrance.
The four pistons on the right for the entrance.
Looking at the two stair pistons, with some of the entrance pistons visible on either side.
Edit: Nevermind, there's a topic somewhere to built a delay on but instant off, and that solved it.
