I used a hipstar door design and tryed to lay it on it's side so I would have a really small sideways hipstar door without hopper clocks and so on.
At first it seems to work it extends like the vertical one but it seems for th retraction the same design with the exact same blocks the result is not the same
and the last two blocks dont retract like ther is the last tick missing to let the pistons extend a second time to retract those blocks. I dont understand because in the vertical version that doesn't happen there it works fine

However, the problem can be solved quite easily with an additional pulse control. (see pictures below)
