I'm creating a system where shooting certain arrows with a bow/crossbow will fire special arrows. I have created three differently named arrows and each one of these arrows has different tags/particles/entity data when shot. I know how to modify the arrows once shot, however my problem is knowing which specific arrow was shot.
The way I plan to do this is have a scoreboard that detects how many of a particular arrow I have, and then detect when the number of that arrow decreases.[/i]Once it is detected which stack of arrows has decreased, the player will be briefly tagged corresponding to which arrow was used, and any unmodified arrow entity near the tagged player will be modified accordingly.
I have absolutely no idea how to set up a scoreboard that corresponds to the amount of a particular arrow I have in my inventory/how to detect when that number decreases. Any help is appreciated!! Thanks in advance!
Note:
-If anyone has any other way to tackle this problem, I am open to suggestions (I can't think of any other way to do this).
-The command should be able to detect the arrow stacks in any slot in the inventory, and not just limited to a particular slot.
