what I want to make is a signal strength circuit that has two inputs and one output and the output is the modular sum of the two inputs. By modular sum I mean that it is the sum of the two inputs but if the sum is greater than 15 then it will “wrap around” back to the beginning (ex: 12+ 8= 4, 10+6= 0). This would be one possible many-valued equivalent of a xor gate and would be one of two circuits essential in constructing an analog adder with carry out, the other being a circuit that outputs a a binary 1 if it’s input sum exceeds 15. Anyone here know how to make such a circuit?
