First post here.
Im trying write a command where I get a redstone output if a player move trough a circle.
See the picture.
I know the command /execute if entity @p [x,y,z]
But it doenst seem to work does someone has a fix for this?
/execute positioned (center of circle) if @p [distance = ..(radius of circle)] (rest of command)
That should work if you just fill in all the () parts with whatever you're needing.

If you want to do even a custom area, place emerald blocks at Y=1 (bedrock layer) to each area's position, then use this command :
/execute as @a at @s if block ~ 1 ~ minecraft:emerald_block run [command]
So as long as the player has emerald block at layer 1 under it, it will trigger the command
