i'm DPaul and i am working on building a CPU (maybe even a whole computer ) out of redstone. But i have a problem trying to find out how to build a cache that is fast enough and compact. I am basing my CPU on the Intel Coffee Lake core microarchtecture (click the spoiler down). So, i thought you pros in redstone out there might know a solution to it.
Are you also trying the full out of order execution setup? Like i can help you on any cache setup but you need a more sophisticated layout than this of the architecture. And regarding caching in general: everything has its tradeoffs in size/speed/performance/lag so ask away; theres no perfect setup.

I hope that you might find a solution!
