I cannot for the life of me find a tutorial to do a one input three outputs toggle. I need a button to toggle between 3 different outputs that are mutually exclusive and all the tutorials I've found don't seem to work anymore. If possible I'd like to not use pistons.
Hey, found this while scrolling through to figure out how to properly put ids into commands and it intrigued me.
i personally don't know how i would do this with pistons but i can do it by putting the final output to the reset line of a memory gate that I worked out one time (not sure if anyone else uses it but its quite nice). It is modular as well, and can be extended to theoretically infinite outputs to toggle. I also have not worked out the timings because i wanted to get this back to you as quick as possible.
so there is memory, output canceling (making only 1 output at a time), the alternating line of comparators and dust makes it so every button press only progresses once every time.
Good luck with whatever you're working on, maybe you could show how you used it as there are many uses

There will always be someone better than you, so you can never be the best. That doesn't mean you can't work to be the best that you can be.
