In a PvP minigame I'm working on I want to have an item that causes certain effects while being held in the offhand. They can't just be done with attributes and so I have a scoreboard set to 1 when the player is holding this item in their offhand which allows other command blocks to give that player the effects. The problem is, I can't figure out how to make the effects no longer apply to the player when they take the item out of their offhand. I've tried many things, but none have worked. I just need a way to set a specific scoreboard to 0 when a player is no longer holding the item in their offhand. Keep in mind that I need something that can work in multiplayer with multiple players using the item. Thanks!
