So ive been playing minecraft for about a year now, and ive been using a lot of command blocks. Now, i have started making a map and I'm wonder how do i delete items form the ground? ive read recent posts and they have all said that people should use the /kill @e[type=Item] {Item:{id:minecraft:itemid}}.
Am i using the wrong command or am i just typing it wrong :P.
The commands we've provided work. If you are changing the commands, the error is on your end; you need to provide the commands you're using as well as the error message(s). Keep in mind that when using a scoreboard objective, you have to instantiate the objective first:

The /kill command does not support NBT data. Syntax:

EDIT: Started typing before Skylinerw, sorry for double post..
Greetings
/kill doesn't support data tags (things like {Item:{id:minecraft:itemid}})
What you could do instead is to use a command that does use support it. /scoreboard is one of those commands.
First you need to create a scoreboard objective:
Then you need to give the items a score:
Then you can do:

@whiteautumncreations your command/s did not help. sorry
What part doesn't work? What error message are you getting? Could you send a screenshot of your redstone?
