Lately I have been working on a PvP map where you can choose between different classes. I had this idea in mind that the classes not only get different gear and potion effect but also different abilities. One of the classes should have a bow that shoots special arrows (for example arrows that create fireballs along their path) but I have hit a wall: If I give other classes a bow, their arrows would have those effects too.
Now there is a way to prevent this but it is very impractical: I could check for arrows in a small radius around the Firearrow class and set a scoreboard value for the arrow. The problem with this is, that also arrows shot by other classes will be turned into firearrows. After realizing that, I did some research about the NBT tags arrows have, in hopes to find an "owner" tag like snowballs or ender pearls have... but I didn't find one.
My question is: Is there any other way to give the arrows the scoreboard value without the method described above? It would still be the best if I could do ... @e {type="arrow",owner="name"} ... but I guess I can't have that.

Good luck !
