OK so in maps that I make I always like to have at least one area where it is a race against the clock, and normally I would use a long line of repeaters connected to a door, but I decided to make a feature that is about as long but uses my new design, called a 'two stream cut-off'. It is not exactly what I thought in my head a two stream cut-off is, but is is a similiar design to what I had planned.
Basically a button/lever/pressure plate/proximity detector activates two lines of redstone that have sticky pistons with a block in the center (Similiar to a T Flip-Flop) and they push each other so that using NOT gates you can have-- you know what, I can't explain it but I do have images.

A wise man once told me that if you win an argument you have learnt nothing.
Thx to CaptainSandbox and Etho's Labs' Hopper Timer I have come up with a more compact way of making it.
It uses a /summon command that spawns Item above hoppers that pick up the items and uses the clock to connect to the door.
The only problem is that you have to continually write Riding,{id:Item, over and over again to have multiple items go in the hopper for a longer timer.
Over all, it is a cool idea and once again I shouout to CaptainSandbox!
