You know how Minecraft V 1.7 adds new biomes? Well, I have thought of these ideas for awhile since the update.
You can see fish, coral, sharks, dolphins in deep oceans and you can see fish in normal oceans.
Definitely some big-cats, because of the Savannah biome. To be more specific, lions, males and females. Maybe even some smaller animals, like snakes and such.
Birds that move and fly, can be tamed by seeds. This does seem like a popular choice, and I agree completely. I mean, their are many different biomes that different types of birds can spawn in.
The new ice biome. Maybe, their could be Snow Leopards, Polar Bears and Arctic Owls. As I said before, different birds spawn in different places so maybe this could be one of the birds.
The desert can have snakes, smaller creatures and elephants.
In the dark forest, their should be ravens/crows and Black Panthers. You could tame black panthers with raw meat.
I'd like a gamemode that's exactly like survival but it has a 'story'. As in, you can find lore books in villages, strongholds, etc, villagers could send you on quests, things like that.
Add freaking DIRT HALF SLABS!!!! My god... It would be nice to have a nice slanted grassy hill. Also I would add vertical half slabs even Glass half slabs and horizontal window panes. Redstone that goes up walls. Like someone said before more extensive caves with ruins underground (kinda like skyrim) where everything is scattered about and you kind find random dungeons and caves. That'd be cool
What would you add? If i could make an update, i would probably add more dragons, including some you could tame. what would you do if you could add ANYTHING, but only one thing, to the game?
I'd add one thing and one thing only:
More fun!
Seriously, a major rehaul of the underground caves & tunnels world generation algorithms.
The Goal: Make the underground varied and impredictable. Even the "Emeralds under X Hills" variation which is the ONLY underground variation we have now, is boring, because it is so predictable. Ores should NOT be found "equally randomly" everywhere in the world. Caves & Tunnels should NOT be generated exactly the same "equally randomly" way everywhere too.
For caves & tunnels this would mean we should have "underground biomes" that have boundaries that definitely should NOT match those of the surface biomes. You could be on the surface and see "Plains" or "Forest" in the F3 Debug screen, but starting at a sufficient depth (NOT right under the surface but maybe say 12 blocks down), you'd start seeing things like "Giant Caves" or "Fungi Forest" or whatever. Those should be maybe not as diverse as surface biomes, but diverse nonetheless, and following the same kind of structure: we'd have "tectonic zones" that would work much like the climate zones, limiting which kind of underground biomes we'd see. Of course, the changes would not be based on ca old to hot range, but on some other underground stony aspect. Amount of fissures? Type of main stone types? Whatever, as long as it's obvious and makes a big change and makes some sense in some way.
And for ores: adding the most obvious ones like copper, tin, and silver, of course, but also gems too: ruby, sapphire, etc. Those could be kind of like different colors for the emerald block. And also more "rich" stone that have slabs and stairs: Quartz we have yes but why not also Marble, Jade, etc.?
But if I'd be limited to STRICTLY one thing, then adding underground biomes (that don't match the boundaries of surface biomes) would make me happiest.
Well mostly I would love to have genders for my animals, and maybe just maybe, some health bars and bad attitude if you feed them to much......inspiration from that one April fools thingy. AND tamable dragons
I would add different kinds of fences, cuz im a building guy, and spruce fences would MAKE MY DAY!I would also add more emeralds! I cant find any!One more thing- a gamemode where you could have hunger, but no mobs, and the other way around
Woah there, megaphone… 12-point font was invented by the Russians for a reason...
OT: I'd add Modding API at this point. Or some of my many suggestions I've posted...
This! I would try many more mods if i didn't have to worry about keeping versions straight, waiting for mod developers to catch up with updates (I don't mean this in a negative way towards developers, I know it's a pain for them too), and hoping the mod won't crash Minecraft. A modding API would help all three of these things and it would make any idea anyone comes up with on this thread more possible.
Honestly, I'd add a more diverse underground. The game is, after all Minecraft. Right now, caves are just bland walls of stone with the occasional dirt patches and ores; I'd like to see things like underground natural structures, different types of caves like jungle, frozen and desert, and perhaps an expansion on dungeons and strongholds which are pretty boring right now.
I love your idea of different types of caves. That would be awesome finding a snow, or desert cave!

Cave paintings would be cool
And I believe people agree that more water and flying mobs would be great
adding to my suggestion is half slab blocks of nearly everything such as wool and wood (the tree not the planks) also PAINTABLE wood, so having the option of painting a piece of wood blue for example.

PROUD USER OF THE STEVE SKIN
I'm still waiting to be able to craft a mine on the crafting table. False advertisement since 2009!
The spears would be cheap being constructed from two sticks and a flint.
The hammer would be made from two gold/iron/diamond, blocks and 1 ingot or gemstone. it would be assembled like a pickax.
I'd add one thing and one thing only:
