No, we've had enough patience. 1.7.2 was released 25 days ago. It is filled to the brim with obvious errors and game-breaking bugs. A good development team would have pushed a barebones bug-fix within a few days. We have gotten nothing for over 3 weeks. This is not acceptable under any circumstances.
And would you do better?

Message me yours if you want to trade in Animal Crossing: New Leaf or just need some friends to play with. I can also do Pokemon trades in Pokemon X(or Y), but I don't have any good stuff, and the only good stuff I have is not for trade so...send me requests anyway.

When I Try to Mine the Blocks replace themselves after I destroy them and there's a Glitch in other areas in mining also the screen freezes there are open spaces I can't enter...The freezes are caused by Game Lag..
I know we need to be patient but it's close to a month here and no update....
Programming the code? No. Managing what gets fixed and when? Yes. Even the youngest members of this forum know that having the game breaking bugs fixed is more important than adding fluff to the game.
Get a resource pack, build a hole for the animals, and calm down.
Games have bugs, it happens, it's only been 25 days. Hell, if they wanted to they wouldn't have to fix them, but they do.
Be appreciative, you aren't entitled to getting a perfect product.
Minecraft players sure do like taking the time required to whinge and complain....
Just keep playing 1.6.4, it's not like you're cutting your arm off or something.
You'd rather play 1.7.2 than 1.6.4? Okay cool, then that means you like 1.7.2 more SO DON'T WHINGE ABOUT IT.
My two cents anyway.
Well, in light of all this, I'm really glad i decided to stick with 1.6.4 (because of the oceans). But in the future, i wont be updating right away if i decide i like an update, because i wont want to risk ruining my world or game break bugs (although i backup my world before updating).
Having said that, i do feel sorry for those that updated to 1.7 without backing up their world. I'm sure reverting to 1.6.4 could corrupt their world due to new block, item etc.
Alright, first I would like to say that 1.7.2 has alot of bugs and glitches. First one, the music glitch. Whenever me or anyone goes on a game, music comes. then another song. and they go together and make it sound horrible. Second, they said they fixed the glitch where animals escape from fences, but no, they didn't. I always see my animals walk out of the fence, I also made it double high so they wont get out and they still do.
This Always happens to me and the animals when they walk out of their fences I hate it when that happens,Well I hope they fix this...Soon
They can't update yet because MCP hasn't been updated.
Once MCP is updated, Forge updated and about half of all major mods updated.
Only then they will put out an update with important bugfixes that will also cause all the mods to have to be updated again....

The only real major problem I have with 1.7.2 are the game crashes. We're talking "blue screen", shut down your computer crashes. I've never experienced those before with any other version.
If you go look here: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Version_history/Development_versions you can see what they have already fixed in the upcoming 1.7.3. The annoying bug where you exit a minecart too far away from the cart is fixed for example. So is the texture bug with the beds. Hopefully they get to release it soon but it seems they are very actively fixing bugs looking at the list of things they fixed so far.

I actually agree somewhat with OP. I KNOW updates are free, but don't you think it's a bit cheap for the devs to release things without a basic bugcheck first? After all, Mojang released 1.6 with MAJOR bugs - you could push horses into walls and suffocate them, among other things!
I really like 1.7, it just bothers me that little bit that the developers didn't spend half an hour testing features before the release.
And would you do better?

And all this time me thinking THEY should be grateful for us having bought their game...
Oh well, that's consumerism for you.

IF YOU DISLIKE MINECRAFT'S UPDATES DONT UPDATE!!!

Don't worry guys, the Mojangsters always have a solution.....
Yeah. Their solutions are the problem.

Not sure what's causing it either.
