i tried looking every where in my launcher but it wont let me update i tried re downloading it still no luck what so ever and when i login it dosent remind me of a update either can some one pls help me

Which version are you trying to update to? 1.6.4, or the new snapshots?

Click Edit Profile and change the version to "release 1.6.4".
