So after the new snapshot being released I was wondering what you guys like or dislike about the new features? I personally don't like all the new flowers and the new terrain generation is awesome but it can be a bit buggy for me. So what do you guys think?

I like pretty much everything in 1.7, especially the new biomes and the /summon command. The only thing that I dislike is how hard it is to find a variety of biomes in one world now.
I was a little sad to see the rose gone, but it hasn't exactly affected my game play, The rose has evolved become bigger and better, much like minecraft its self.
I agree the rose bush is very Cool but I wish there could be both

I'm pleased with the new biomes and features for the most part. My only real complaints are:
Oceans. The addition of deep oceans is a nice feature that adds realism, but the current ocean generation has turned them into giant lakes. I happened to like having defined continents instead of a continuous landmass.
Minor complaint: The roofed/black forest was touted as a dangerous and dark place where monsters could survive even in the day. Looking at the short, fat, healthy green trees and the giant mushrooms to be found in it, I find myself expecting nothing more dangerous than gnomes baking cookies (mind you, I wouldn't say no to that as a feature). It would be much more atmospheric if the black forest was filled with tall, ominous looking spruce trees suitable for something along the lines of Mirkwood.
I'm really looking forward to the birch forest biomes, as I have always loved birch trees, and the double-tall grass. The new flowers and fish look a bit out of place, but I suppose I'll get used to them. I absolutely love the way biomes are divided now, despite the many complaints from others. It makes exploring much more rewarding! Overall, the new update is looking pretty stinkin amazing.
I hate the removal of roses, only because the communitymakes a very big deal about it for some reason. It’s like a child asking its mother for an iPhone 5, then cries and makes a lot of trouble happen because they don’t get their special treatment.

I love the savannah trees. The new flowers are OK. I love the roofed forest. The snowline in hilly biomes is a good thing. I was exploring on peaceful, so I'm not sure about monsters in the roofed forest, but I tend to cross those in the sunlit treetops, so I don't care if there are monsters down there. I had no problem finding various terrains.
I like everything for the most part I miss the rose but it won't kill me to see it disappear, I'll just make a mod that adds the rose and keeps all the new flowers, it'll take all of 20minutes to make (I'm not the best with coding).
However, I hate two new biomes, ice spike (who the hell thought of this?), and whatever that one is all orangy and layered.

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
The orange layery one is mesa and looks like the grand canyon. Those layers are colored clay. I wouldn't want to live there but it's a cool place to visit. Same with ice spikes. It looks amazing.
The feature I really like that I don't see mentioned is elevated plains in Extreme Hills. These are fantastic; you can build up in the mountains without spending several hours flattening them first.
Apart from that, the standard good things: clustered biomes, few bad starts, new flowers, increased terrain variability, savannas, redwood forests, and mesa plateaus.

Dislike: That the snow caps for mountains are so low and the deletion of roses.
