Mac issue with 1.6 - Maximized screen causes cursor to no longer line up correctly

After I maximize my screen and enter my inventory or hotbar my cursor no longer lines up correctly. It seems to select the item immediately to the right of my selection instead of what I'm trying to click on. Anyone else notice this?

I'm running Mac OS X Mountain Lion. 10.8.4

Yep. I get the same thing using 10.6.8

I still haven't found a fix yet but I if I do I will post it.
