In minecraft 1.6 (lots of bad reviews, bring some joy) there's upside-down mobs, if you name them something.
If you name mobs Dinnerbone or Grumm they will be upside-down, its really funny.

Glass with a roof and they "walk" on the ceiling because depth of the hole is 1block
