All of the textures (I'm using the default texture pack) On blocks or items are missing. They're white. Entities such as: Chests, minecarts, mobs are fine. Also grass, tall grass and leaves are different shades of green but are still textureless beyond that. This is not happening to everyone but I don't think it's anything I did that caused it.

My dispensers are textured as furnaces and my ghasts are firing flaming diamond helmets at me, that's all I've seen.

If you go into your minecraft folder and make a shortcut of the minecraft.exe and put that on your desktop instead of just making a copy the stitched texture files will go into your minecraft folder in your c drive and you can delete the ones from your desktop

I am having this error also. I have to use the Magic Launcher because the default launcher hates my video card drivers for no reason. I found these new files also, they are in my .minecraft folder instead. I am thinking it has to do with OpenGL.

Edit: Minecraft cannot find the texture files for some reason. Everything is white because that is the default value, the green on top of the grass blocks is the biome color. Dinerbone said that there will be a 13w02b soon, lets hope that this bug is fixed in it.

Nether brick and smooth stone also seem to have visible outlines on the blocks. Some more may have this but that's the only two I've seen so far

This doesn't happen on a pure vanilla run of minecraft.
Turn off all mods.

The OPs problem doesn't happen for me, all textures show up fine, but I did notice another Texture issue:

Both the wood and metal door Textures don't map correctly with double doors. The doors work right but the textures make it look like they won't, as if the doors are both facing the same direction instead of turned around to touch at the center.


[EDIT] I have found that, thankfully, this particular bug has already been added to the bug tracker and verified.

Double doors don't work for me and their particle effects when broken are black and white.Thats it for me.

Another texture problem is the sides of grass blocks do not get biome specific shading even in fancy graphics.

Calm down, it happened to me, this new system is probably in it's beta phase, it'll get fixed soon.

Same glitch for me, I also got the stitch files. I have no mods, and no texture packs. I tried deleting terregin.png (however that's spelled) and items.png, and it still didn't work. Jeb fix your game have dinnerbone come to the rescue =everything
