Well, in case you didn't know, the 1.4.6 update replaced the "seamless" stone slab (id 43:6 or 44:6) with the nether brick slab. My question is, is it still possible to obtain this in singleplayer? I heard the new id for this block is 43:7, but I can't figure out how to get this even with cheats enabled. Help would be appreciated.
I ran some big problems with this change. I had just finished paving a real-life-scale airport with seamless stone slabs (Lots of them) and when I logged on to my world after updating, they were all changed to Nether-Brick!
This is very frustrating, and I am still deciding what I am going to do about it. I don't want to have to re-do it all, but It looks like that's my only choice. Any help would be great.
I don't know how you could get the block, but the newest version of MCEdit doesn't recognize the change yet.

Why don't you use normal smooth stone halfslabs since the top looks the same and the smoothstone half slabs are official and won't get replaced. (I assume from 'paving' you mean a road and you can't see the sides of the blocks)

/give {INSERT USERNAME HERE} 43 64 7
That is, if the damage ID is correct; as I only tested this in 1.4.2. The command structure is universal though.
I just tried that: (/give <username> 43 64 7 ) and it worked perfectly: It gave me seamless stone slab blocks.
Thanks, it works!
