Before you say this is fake, or that I gave the skeleton the armor, I didn't. It's your choice to believe me or not, but this is the honest to goodness truth; I turn around whilst caving since I heard a rattling of bones, come to find out the skeleton had on full iron armor. Also, this was in single player, so I know no one could have given it the armor.

It took 4 hits to kill it with a sharpness 5 sword.

I didn't even know these spawns were possible, has anyone else ever seen one?

Yes, these spawns are rather rare, but are possible. They can happen if you die around the mob and they pick up your armour (not in this case) or they can spawn with armour.

I never seen something like this but i ever seen a zombie with a shovel hmmm???

I was quite astonished when I saw it, I had to make sure I wasn't in SMP and someone was trying to mess with me, lol.

I had a skelaton spawn in full chain mail

I had a ghast spawn in full diamond

Wow you guys must be oblivius to updates or something. Since 1.4 mobs have a slight chance to spawn with armour and an even more slight chance to drop that armour

Usually when mobs in my world spawn with armor, it's full golden armor. And usually only skeletons.

Do you mean me? I've known all about them spawning with armor, I just don't play as much as the next guy, not enough anyway to know every single distinct possibility as to what armor they can spawn with. The fact that a skeleton spawned with full iron armor was amazing, in my opinion. Thanks anyway though, snapshot sam.

Had a zombie spawn in full diamond. 15 diamond sword hits.
