The more the snapshots, the better.
The more you kids complain, the more bugs 1.3 would have, because you'll force them to release it early.
The strange thing is, the same thing happens either way. It basically takes them the same amount of time to fix all these bugs whether they release the version early or not and people will complain if it is delayed too long or people would complain that the 'stable' version has so many bugs.
Pretty much the exact same situation as 'why should they release the 1.0 full version? It isn't complete!'

I'm just saying, it's been 3 months since the last update.
I'm not rushing them or anything, I'm just suggesting that it would be nice for them to release the full update soon. I want to play on servers, use mods, and texture packs, along with the awesome new snapshot features.
seeing as 1.3 is going wreck all the mods, I'm happy with them taking as much time as they need to release a stable update. The time between 1.3 and 1.4 is going to be very chaotic for the modding community, and I predict that many modders are just going to wait until the API is released.
So yeah, Jeb taking his time now, and getting as much done as possible before 1.3 is a very good thing.

I use the FTB modpack, because it's fun, and extremely convenient.
I was hoping this thursday was the day they released it after so many snapshots, same with the last. Just because I know if I make a new world and get committed to it, I wont be able to continue it because maybe next week they'll r release the update. I want to use the large biomes feature, hope they don't add anything new to terrain generation because I might just start a new world now with a snapshot even though I was waiting for a update

I wouldn't bother waiting. Start the world now. There's no evidence that 1.3 is going to break it.
And I agree with doctorseaweed2. Let the snapshots keep rollin'. I'm in no rush.
I'm hoping they'll add more features to adventure mode before 1.3. If they don't add anything more to the snapshot though you probably don't have much longer to wait. Perhaps next week or the week after. 3 weeks tops if they don't add any more features.
The reason that there are so many snapshots is because Jeb is trying to make 1.3 as clean as possible. Besides, it also means that you get what you waited for. After ten snapshots, it means 1.3 will be one HUGE update, and Jeb is just trying to make sure everything works.

I'm still using Windows 7.
I said this. Two days later, my computer's motherboard melted down and I had to get a new one with Windows 8.

Ditto, especially with the merge... If ALL the longstanding SMP bugs ain't squished in 1.3, I say the longer the better. More chance of any 1.2.5 mod being somewhere out there. (We all have one that was in X.X.X that we want to see in 1.25 but it hasn't been updated even yet right?)
The only thing I am sad about is the fact that they pushed modding API back, and as a modder I don't know what 1.3 will change in the area of modding, i was hoping the API would come out at the same time and make it simpler, but I am apprehensive about the future of my mods but the snapshot are great I say keep them coming, with as many as necessary, I don't want them to overlook bugs and end up making a 1.3.9 (because that would suck )

I just want it done so I can stop hearing about the darn thing. It's almost as redundant as them repeating naraku's name in inuyasha.
NOt to forget that while bug fixxing, they are also putting new things in that introduce new bugs.
As much as I like the new tripwires, they released them at a bad time. I thought they were finishing up with content a week or so ago and then they always have to stuff in at least one new thing. They do plan this stuff ahead of time, but they don't seem to focus on one thing at a time.
Anyone think it's about time they stabilize all the bugs and release full 1.3?

Irony in the first degree.
