Do none of you read the minecraft Wiki? Countless topics I have read and everyone is making speculations as to whether or not something is going to be implemented and yet with a few clicks away you will have that info.
On subject now, does anyone know if there will be any more recipes for cocoa beans? I mean cookies\dye is all good but...I would like some chocolate milk...:3

If Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter were all destroyed, 99% of teens would go insane. If you're one of the 1% that would be laughing at them, copy this into your signature and hope it happens.
True, I have done so, also chocolate covered apples seems like an idea, just need to think of what use they would be.

We may get to that point some day. One good thing about it is just having the items is a start. Then a mod (for example a food mod)doesn't have to develop the assets, they can use existing assets in minecraft and add new recipes.

CHOCOLATE MILK!!!! Yes! Yes! Yes! and more YES!!!!
--On the topic of cocoa beans, I started a new world, entered a village, plundered a farm, bought an emerald for 20 wheat(that I plundered) and bought 8 melon with an emerald. What does this mean? The only reason why melons aren't as good as cookies is because before you had to find a mineshaft to acquire them. As of this point, you can acquire melons from villages, melons grow fast(fast supply like cookies), give the same energy but give more saturation. With the addition of trading, cookies have become 'useless'.

Villages are rarer than mineshafts, so I don't really see the difference between then and now.
Either way, melon seeds are less accessible than cocoa beans, so the pros and cons are there.
Melon slices give more saturation, but cookies are easier to access.

Have you used large biomes yet? There's usually a village over every hill in desert biomes. lol
I usually find roughly 9 villages every large desert.
In some situations you are probably right though, I guess it depends on wether walking through air or mining is quicker and if you happen to stumble upon one or the other first and if you happen to find a villager that trades you melons.
