I recently started getting back into Minecraft, as I left shortly after the 1.0 update in November, and I'm hearing that with the new snapshots, they're attempting to mix single and multi player. I was wondering, how will people join your game? Will it be done with afriends list invite sort of thing, or will you still have to do some of the complicated things done with making a server?
Cats. Jungles. New planks. Iron Golems. Languages. Grass-eating sheep. Enchantable bows. Desert wells. New sandstone. Wolf breeding. New map format. New map height. New block ID's. And lots of bug fixes.

So yeah, not much.
To add to that:
Redstone Lamps
New mob AI with path finding
Zombies bash down doors on hard
Eggs in creative mode that spawn mobs on command
Etc... (1.2 was the main update. There were 5 bug fix updates after that.)
Oh wow, cool. How high is the map now?
