***Make sure to back up 1.2.5, this version isn't very stable.
Findings:
- NEW: Added shift clicking support for armor to armor slots and for brewing stands (brewing stands don't completely work)
- NEW: Dispensers now shoot boats onto water and minecarts onto rails. Minecarts have been crashing on me a few times.
- NEW: Items thrown on the ground will stack into each other.
- Fixed a few bugs with pick block button. There are still bugs with redstone and signs. Trying to pick the piston arm crashes the game so be careful!
- In creative inventory, when you have a block/item selected and you click on one in the inventory, it will swap them instead of leaving you empty handed. (Dunno if bug or not, it seems really annoying)
- BUG: Spawn eggs spawn baby animals/villagers
- BUG: Changing GUI scale crashes the game
- BUG: Destroying floating sand might crash the game
I'll do my best to find stuff. I'm dying to know the whole changelog though XD
1.Pick block button (middle mouse) has changed in these ways:
-Clicking mobs gives you their spawn egg.
-Clicking snow on the ground now gives placeable snow rather than snowballs.
-Now works on grass, giving you the grass block rather than dirt.
Thanks. I noticed they fixed a lot of them but there's still a few. Tall grass has been giving me dead shrubs.
I don't interact with villagers much, but I noticed two things I've never seen before, whether this has always existed or came with this update I'm not sure. A found a village with bigger houses, at least two or three times larger than the 5x5x5 boxes I'm used to seeing. I also watched a villager run from his dark house, then back in and place a torch inside of it at night time.
1. zombies drop iron equipment
2. skeletons now drop bows.
IMO this needs to be changed, this just makes the game hell of a lot easier, and it was already easy since 1.0

2. In creative mode trying to place an item back into the creative menu will result in you picking up the item you tried to place the other on. (Not sure if this is intentional or not)
Not certain of this one but I've noticed a Taiga Hills biome which I don't think I've seen in previous versions.
That's been since 1.2.3
the secret changelogs probably have to do with patching server and client exploits, or nerfing hacks in some way. Because most hacks and client mods aren't updated for snapshots, we won't know this for sure until 1.3 or whatever RB this snapshot leads to, is released. Hence there's no reason to openly advertise that these exploits are being sorted out.
At least, that's a likely scenario. I could be wrong, and it could be secret mob behaviours (trading, breeding fix) or totally new content.
2 months? this wasnt like that since 1.2..., I played alot since 1.2 was released.
was this change really released with 1.2.5? mobs drop iron equipment and skeletons drop bows?
X_X... anyway to disable this in my game? this is just ridiculous, even if it is in 1.2.5

It's a rare drop. Then don't drop if all the time. I've barely noticed the change.

It's 1.5 months, really. But 1.2.1 introduced mob drops. This isn't anything new, and nobody really cared about them when they came out because the new mob drops are fairly rare and neat little rewards.
mobs drop equipment, DO... NOT.... WANT....
THE GAME IS MINECRAFT, THIS GETS RID OF THE POINT!
Gets rid of what point? It's intended to reward the players that go out killing Mobs. Also it's not like they drop them every other time. I go through most nights of killing Mos without a single rare drop.

Just throw away the drop then, not that hard.
Now if you keep the drop then you are just making a complain that has nothing to do with anything.
Don't like it? Throw away the drop.
Like it? Keep the drop.
Not hard ;P

Not sure if you mean every kill or not? Because in 1.2.5 right now these are drops that are "rare" but still occur. Zombies drop ingots, shovels, swords, and helmets all Iron. Skeletons drop bows on occasion and even more rarely a bow with a low enchant (like power 1). This is ALREADY in the game and not new.

Note: By bigger houses, I mean actual houses, not libraries, smiths, etc. Just to clarify.
Can anyone confirm that this is new, or old? I'm more curious than anything. Thanks!

Nice! Waiting for this for a while.

Maybe a new potion or brewing ingredient?
Or perhaps a new crafting recipe?
