Hello. I am the owner of a small server me and my friends play on. I want to be able to find out what seed we have but I cant seem to find it. I know you used to be able to see it in f3 but not anymore. Thanks!

It's in your server config file. It also will report the seed in the server log when it first starts up.
I personally find the change highly irritating. Anything the client knows, the user can find out. So all this does is give a greater advantage to people who use hacks/cheats. Or the ones who already wrote down the world seed. I'd prefer it if Mojang focused on things like better anti-flying, anti-spam, adding a /ignore to the built-in chat, a scrollback window, etc.

So currently the only way to find the seed info is the server log/config file? Man that's pretty annoying to have to run up to my computer upstairs to check the info for every map just to see the seed, then come back down. Yeah I could run the programs on THAT computer, but this is where I work and game and it seems like its a really odd change to have to go look in specific files and not pull it up anymore.
~the_creeperlord- F3 says the seed is "0" and I have a hard time believing that's the seed I got this time around and would assume its whats showing up for everyone else too. I know I read about a change with the way to look up your seed with this patch but I can't find where/how anymore and its buggin me!

As far as I'm aware, for multiplayer that is correct. (It still works on single player mode)
But I'm sure someone will have a client-side mod out soon that reverts the behavior of F3.
