İs it just me or its acutaly harder to find diamond ?

now, mojang made it so that diamonds exposed to air will only contain 1-3 diamonds instead of the old 8, so when you go underwater mining or strip mining you will find much more diamonds as they are exposed to water or other blocks as opposed to air
