Okay so Mojang is doing good with structures the last few updates, it seems. Ancient cities and trail ruins were both decently novel and mysterious with unique mechanics. And trial chambers are an absolute love letter to players who just want combat and adventure. I feel like a complete kleptomaniac and bloodthirsty, but it's amazingly fun and a very unique style with the copper environment as well. Some areas of the structure are a bit too dark though - afraid mobs might spawn if you knock out a light.
I think the changes to wolves and the addition of copper grates are also much needed niches for more practical group fighting and for stronger solid-see-through blocks than glass. Grates feel like vents and will encourage more sci fi map design.
While not necessarily a huge deal, bogged having different parameters than other skeleton types is also neat (slower, spawn in groups, more spawn area, can be sheared, etc).
The new potion types is nice though it would be nicer if you didn't have to kill mobs to get what you're looking for from them. Only silverfish work on hits rather than kills for some reason. I guess because they vanish quickly.

With the introduction of all the new Copper blocks, it makes me want variants for Iron and Gold, but to be slightly different much like Glazed Terracotta or the Wood doors. Iron and Gold Grates, Chiseled Iron and Gold blocks. Stairs. Just more options for older blocks might be a grate (great) thing.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on you. Fool me three times, hold up, rewind, That's not even possible.
"The 1.22 creakings/pale gardens are a nice nod to fantasy golems of the weeping-angel and shared-core types, but not sure how fun the gameplay will be when you have a swarm of those on you or a swarm of normal mobs alongside just one of them. They are, after all, inverse endermen."
