Idk if the new snapshots cattegory is the right one for this, but it did happen in the newest realse.
So weird stuff happened 2 times. Once while i was mining, random cobble blocks started spawning at head level behind me. That happened 3 times.
Next thing is that a random villager spawned on top of my house even tho i hadnt bred any villagers, found any zomvie villagers or anything to make it spawn.
(it was a librarian from before the village update and im running 1.19)
Ok so it probably does seem made up but im really not joking, also i forgot to mention i didnt have any internet while these 2 things were happening ( my internet was down while i was playing). Im just asking if its possible as im a VERY paranoid person when it comes to the internet/hackers.
Just realised theres another thing i forgot to mention, i had built my house NEAR a village before the 2nd incident but it was fully fenced off.
These events can't happen naturally so all I can guess is someone injected a malware into your game for unknown reasons, not necessarily off the internet.
Can malware rlly spawn blocks or villagers in players worlds? I feel thatd be a waste of time (for the person that added a malware) , but i guess its the only answer to what happened. Thanks for telling me!

Hey for all I know, Mojang or Microsoft does it themselves to keep the game fresh.

Can anyone explain?
This already happened to me, it was just a bug that lasted a few hours and they already fixed everything.

That is a very unlikely bug. Did developers leave in an algorithm to spawn dirt behind players and villagers on roofs? I can see that being used for testing but to leave that in given playtesting seems unreasonable. And why did only some people have it, and for different times?

There is no malware that affects things in-game. You'll need mods or plugins to do things like that, unless you're playing on a multiplayer server and someone is trolling you.
What Geforce said is accurate. Malware is not made to target games on your PC. That would be the least of your worries if that was the case. Random cobble/dirt being placed in a single-player world sounds like an enderman. Regarding the villager.. you'd be surprised at how sneaky they are.

I was i was in a strip mine like hole that i dug (2 blocks tall) and had no mobs spawning near me, and the cobble was placed at the level of my head 3 times in a row. As i said the villager that had “magically” spawned on my house was a librarian from befoe the village update ( all white villager (aka a librariab fhen))

I know its sound unbelievable, thats the very reason why i came here. i just wanted people to tell me “ oh thats normal i had that happen to me 20362916291 times “ so i could feel better.
I also thought i got a screenshot of the villager but i think i forgot to get it, i deleted the villager world but the one with random blocks still exists.
I don't entirely believe you like everybody else but If you were messing with commands or something weird things like that could happen. One time I was messing with commands in a creative world and placed a command block which would start placing blocks behind me. But when I accidently lagged the game out by doing that and escaped by destroying the command block, all of a sudden I couldn't type and esc acted the same as the windows key (I'm on a acer aspire laptop btw.) I restarted the computer but it got stuck at the blue loading screen and I had to turn off the pc while it was restarting. In the end everything got back to normal but a few days later I fully turned off my pc and it got stuck at the acer loading screen and I did the same thing. (As in I shut the pc off during the loading screen)
That bug is quite unlikely. Did programmers include an algorithm that would spawn dirt on players' backs and villagers on roofs? Although I can imagine that being utilized for testing, it seems ridiculous to keep that given playtesting. And why did it only belong to a select few people at different times?
In Minecraft, cave noises were added before the moon, which indicates that they were included VERY early. However, a long time after cave noises were introduced, there was a hypothesis that it was an indication of herobrine. Despite being aware of this, Notxch chooses to leave the cave noises in place. How come that?

Yes it's HerobrineEntity303 blahblah.
No, you have a hacker in your world or you're making this up like everyone else does. MC creepypastas were fun like 10 years ago, now it's cliche.

Endermen cannot place cobble since 1.1 or so. Villagers can only scale roofs when they're jumpable
yes it was herobrine then

Take video of it if it happens again, nobody can tell otherwise. It still sounds attention seeky.
