sheep grow faster. one night from baby to full grown.
nearest town has no gardens. same as 21w11a. i want to find potatoes for food but have not found any root vegetables.
adequate amount of iron at level 12. mined from level 12 to level 3. 50 copper, 40 iron, 6 gold, 35 redstone, 6 lapis.
have not found any big caverns yet but just wanted to mine for gold, iron and redstone to make maps. working on paper now.
when i mine i dig three levels deep 16 blocks. the turn right and 16 blocks, then r4ight and another 16, nd right and complete the square. same size as a chump but i don't coordinate. then i dig 4 lines to find any ore within the square.
after the square is done i go three levels lower for a new square. this way i don't miss anything.
when getting sand with my boat, i got a glow ink sack. it is used for brightening text on signs. new to 21w13a i think.11
deepslate is now at old level 11. i found a town with a garden. now it is different from 1.16.5. there were two carrot plants, two potato plants and two or three beet and some wheat. the town is built on many severe canyons, straight down. maybe 20 or 30 levels. houses with entrances i can't get to because they are over air. if i want to go into the building i have to create a bridge from the far side. canyons are maybe 6 blocks wide or so. very interesting. i need to make a copy of the world incase it is taken over by the hostile mobs like zombies.
Sheep growing up faster than other animals isn't new; at least as far back as 1.6, and probably much earlier, they grow up faster if they can eat grass, which adds 60 to their age, which starts at -24000 and they become an adult when it reaches 0, which requires either 20 minutes or 400 feedings, which happen on average once every 50 ticks for baby sheep, so over 10 minutes, or one night, they can eat an average of 240 times, which is enough to reduce the growth time by 12 minutes, provided that they have enough grass to eat every 2.5 seconds, in which case they take about 9 minutes to grow up when including their normal growth rate (i.e. it increases by 110 ticks over a 50 tick period, 60 from feeding):
