For me, two is two too many. But I tolerate them because I was promised by the wiki "At any time, there can be only one wandering trader naturally spawned in loaded chunks".
I'm pretty sure I've met those conditions, and my 1.15 pre-2 world (started on an early 1.15 patch) has two. Screen pics shows this, they are separated by about 25 meters, tried to get both in pic.
So, before I report this as a bug, please let me know if the "only one at a time" rule has changed. Thanks/Lon
p.s. The seed is 4111111111111111 and the world is called "Visa". 7.5 kudos for anyone who can tell me why. It's otherwise a pretty neat world.
In my thread it was suggested that maybe I'd been far enough away from the first that he was unloaded when the second spawned, though I'd have thought that in that case the second would have spawned near where I was and not back at my base?
Maybe it's just a glitch, I don't think you have to worry about getting more and more or getting 2 traders every time.
Remember that the wiki is updated by players and therefore isn't 100% accurate, and often won't have any information about potential bugs like this. Checking the bug tracker there is an open bug for this occurring in Minecraft Bedrock Edition (https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-47698), but I didn't see any bugs for it happening in Java Edition. However there is a chance nobody has reported it yet.

I've had two in existence twice, I chalked the first up to chunk unloading - I'd been running between my base and worksite. The second was more interesting, there were definitely two in closeish proximity near my worksite - I don't think they were far enough away to get unloaded as I moved around but I suppose it's possible.

I had 2 in a 1.14.4 world.
So it's not due to you playing it in a snapshot.
And I doubt it has anything to do with the seed.
