Trying to start a new world in the snapshot, but I can't get the literal "Loading..." screen.
I checked the output log, and it would seem the game is crashing, but not actually closing or prompting the Launcher to show that the game has crashed as it usually does, unless I open task manager and force the game's process to close from there.
Here is the crash report:

While I appreciate the hug, I would prefer the warm embrace of a New World in this snapshot.
Am I the first to report this?
It is also might be worth noting that the output log reported an error even before I tried to load a new world.
Realms module missing

Relevant information bump.
It takes seriously a dozen tries, but if I try to load the same world, having to terminate then restart minecraft each time to do so, the world DOES eventually load. This has to be done for every new world.

Stick to full releases or report the bug to Mojang.
