I also agree with Hooppa42... I REALLY HOPE when they fix the horse (again) it's for the last time. And I hope it's in next snapshot because horses currently having "tummy neck syndrome" irks me. x'D
I really like it. Oceans were pretty barren before, its nice to see some more life. But I really feel like this is straying toward the "modded" side. It doesn't feel like vanilla anymore. I feel like these things are reserved for mods.

The new world generation excites me! I love mountainous terrain and have been dissatisfied with how mountains generate in this game for a long time. I'll be waiting very impatiently for plugin and API devs to get everything up to snuff for 1.13!
I love this update. Imo there should be as much stuff crammed in the game as possible, 2x more of alot of things, mobs, ores, foliage, structures, quests from villagers... brighter, paler water and optimization
Barely noticed any change in the world gen except for the extreme hills being slightly less eye-gouging.
Really neat additions on the overall though. The Phantoms could probably use to be typical spawns in the outer lands of the end, along with endermites. The trident is really good, and is really satisfying to use. There seems to be this annoying bug with the scroll wheel detection. Agh. Stripped logs are... Awkward.
To be frank though, I can't help but feel like this is too little too late for me. I dunno.
I agree. Though it's still a little exciting, it's harder to get excited when something is so overdue.
It is. Despite that and the fact I rarely touch Minecraft, I still look forward to seeing reefs and fish in the game, and I hope newer players enjoy the additions.
Heh. Hehehe... Brings me back to when I first joined the game. Man I was steamed that the fish mob wasn't in the game. Good times.
The mechanics around turtles are so interesting! Instead of killing creatures to get our resources, we now have to make sure that the turtles stay alive. And I can't wait to expand my zoo with a few new inhabitants.
Tons of interesting mechanics. The vents and whirlpools add interesting mechanics, especially when combined with boats. Turtles are a nice addition, though i do feel that the "potion of the turtle master" is a bit OP. 100% damage resistance in exchange for 90% speed reduction? that seems a bit ridicules, especially sense i can just use a bow. Having a way to summon lightning is nice, especially for head farms. and items floating up in water allows for clean and not laggy item elevators. Though there is one thing i'm afraid of, and that's the possibility of Phantoms being more of an annoyance.

The oven book now makes life easier for me in MC. Now I like this update more.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this snapshot, it has more features than any single one in a long time.
Plus using Channeling makes me feel like a freakin' Greek god.

I'm excited to explore underwater new items like the abandoned temples and structures, ships (is this correct?). All seems pretty cool to me.
