So I heard you can make your own advancements in the 1.12 snapshots, but how? Is there a way for YouTubers (or others) to make custom ones and you can easily add it to your Minecraft world?
Oh, and is there a way to make them have custom titles, and make them so you have to do this advancement in order to do this custom advancement? Can I edit the thing when it says "Advancement Complete!" to make it something else?
How could it possibly be cheating to use a feature of the vanilla game?
And in any case, how could it be cheating to have custom advancements? They don't change gameplay.
EDIT: I just realized that advancements can give rewards. I would indeed look askance at someone creating an advancement giving 64 diamond blocks for, say, crafting sticks. But since they could only really do it in single player, it's hard to get worked up about.

Okay, thanks! I'll try to think of fair advancement rewards. But what about my other questions in the thread? Do you know the answers for that?

Yes, you can make your own advancements. As for how, look at the wiki or the guide posted on these forums.
Yes, they can have custom titles, and can have any existing or custom advancement as a 'parent'. No, you can't alter the text.
Skyliner has a very good guide here of what we do know at this point:

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
