worst thing ever implemented. srsly are people so lazy to even press spacebar? and pay some attention for god sake when building instead of relying on autojump lol
The only practical use I can see is for crappy keyboards with a low key life
Guys, not everyone is very good using keyboard/mouse. I know several families where the only game on their PC is Minecraft, and some of them even set their movement to the arrow keys. Sure, it might not be hard to learn to use the space bar but if you are only playing this game, not very often, and certainly not competitively/ in single player I don't see why this is a bad thing. These are the same people who most likely won't be exploring the options very much.
Well fro me it has been a pain. If there is a wall with a block then on top of that no block and on top of that a block you would still jump. Very buggy for an official realease. If you don quiet understand here is an example:
The instant I heard about autojump I made the decision that it was getting turned off. I haven't turned it back on since. I'm so used to jumping that I still hit space anyway and I get all messed up by autojump.

I both love it and hate it. I love it when I'm playing Minecraft with my three year old niece. She sits on my lap and depending on her mood she either wants to walk while I steer or steer while I walk. Before 1.10, I kept having to hit space for her but now I don't have to worry about it.
I hate it when I play because it's annoying as heck when I'm in a house and I bump into something and suddenly find myself jumping lol.

Yeah, I feel the same way as you. It helps, but for more advanced players, it gets in our way.
Personally, I do not like the new auto jump feature. Every time i get out of 1.10 and back in i have to turn it off. But in the unlikely situation that you do not have any thumbs, Then this is right for you. All in all it's an 'ok' idea.
I can take it or leave it. I think it came a little too late and Mojang are just trying to catch up with some of the better mods that are out there. Its a good concept, just not for everyone

I know I'm late as a dino visiting mammoths, but I quite despise it. I see great use for PE versions, but in PC not so much. More so if you're a builder.
I love it. I've played the PC version for three years and the 360 version before that and I've never been able to consistently time my jumps correctly, especially when I have to run from something or someone (or, conversely, chase them). It's a huge help when doing stuff like Hunger Games or Death Match types of mini games.
I have nothing against having the option there....I just choose to keep it off.

To be honest, I turn it off it every time I play Minecraft! However, it still turns back on once I open MC again, so it's pretty annoying for me.
Or atleast let people turn it off for a default.
Just wait, more auto options will show up....

I'll be completely honest, there's no point in complaining. You can disable it, it's not being forced upon you.

Signature? What's a signature? Can you eat it? Can you sleep on it? Can you gather food with it? No? Well that's very disappointing.

Figured it was time for a change.
I love it. I honestly don't like the auto jump feature. It was hard building for me until i finally figured out how to disable it...
